At the market this week: July 26

Nice end of the day.

Hey all,

We have the following in various amounts for the farmers’ market this week:

Cucumbers – 3 kinds; all excellent quality; lots!

Squash – many kinds of really nice fruits; lots.

Beans – green, yellow wax, french filet, flat Italian pod beans; a good amount.

Cabbage – green and napa; a modest amount.

Onions – large Sweet Spanish whites and Red River; plenty.

Garlic – many medium sized stiff-necked of excellent quality.

Broccoli – decent quality; tastes great; some.

Potatoes – a fair amount of medium to new-sized reds and whites.

Raspberries – a small amount of delicious fruit.

Salad Mix – a modest amount of good quality greens; the last for a while.

Kale – a lot of good stuff!

Collards – solid quality; plenty.

Escarole and Endive – good quality; great grilled!

Carrots – not many, but some.

Cilantro, Parsley, Dill, Sage, Thyme, Oregano, Mint, Basil, Coriander, Epazote, Papalo – Some of each!

Flowers – nice bouquets for the table.

Eggs!

Renee will be helping you this weekend again.  I’ll be there next weekend.
