Summer is almost here

This week at the Farmers’ Market we will have spinach, kohlrabi, turnips, Asian greens, mixed greens, chard, garlic scapes, green garlic, mixed lettuce, rhubarb, stew hens, chicken feet and eggs.

Sorry about forgetting to post last week. The last two weeks have just flown by.

This week it will just be a quick update on what is growing around here. The turkeys are getting big. It’s been fun to watch them fill out.

 

 

 

 

Fighting for greens.

 

 

 

As we told you, we put in irrigation this year. We are very happy we did. It’s dry out there folks.

 

 

 

 

The potatoes are starting to flower.

 

 

 

Garlic, most of the scapes have been cut.

 

 

 

 

Strawberries, almost done for the year.

 

 

 

Our newly established rhubarb.

 

 

 

 

The broilers are growing. Eric and J will take them to Greene next week. We are excited about how well they have matured.
