Saturday Market

Over the last few weeks I’ve taken to following the David Miller method of communication. I start by telling you what I think is a funny or meaningful story and then finish with what we will have at the market. Not this week. As we speak, Eric and Seth are outside stacking hay bales around the greenhouse. This will hopefully prevent frost from settling on the plants. We have a good size greenhouse, and we also have about 2 1/2 acres of planted crop right now. We can’t tell you what we will have at the market on Saturday, it will depend on what makes it over the next few nights. In addition to the surviving crops we will have eggs. We sold out of chicken this week. Our next set of broilers will be processed October 4th.

Also, please be sure to check out the Culinary Ride. It’s happening this Sunday. We are really excited to host all those who are participating. Eric has started getting things ready to serve green chili and corn bread. We will have vegan and vegetarian options for the chili. The corn bread will not have a vegan option.
