Moving the laying hens to the field

Well, like most things on the farm, you get to doing it and pictures are an after-thought. We had a very successful mission last night and the birds had their first sleep-over over at Jeanne’s place. This morning I went over to let them out and they have spent their first day there, scratching, foraging, pecking, flying, nesting, laying, roosting, the whole bit. I think they are going to love it. At around 10 this morning, Milo and I took some pictures of the birds in their new habitat. Hope you enjoy!
